<p><a title=""CAER" Screening + Filmmaker Q&A" href="https://tenderloinmuseum.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=300f4421e3c6942355e8d230e&id=da215d8ec9&e=5655264733" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"><strong>Blackhawk at the Blackhawk: Exploring the legacy of jazz in the Tenderloin</strong></a></p> <p><strong>Saturday August 13, 2022, 12 – 5pm; Music starts at 1pm</strong></p> <p><strong>Location: The site of the Blackhawk Jazz Club</strong></p> <p><strong>200 Hyde St. (NW corner of Turk/Hyde)</strong></p> <p id="yiv1027302350yui_3_17_2_1_1658948185793_1638"><strong>Tenderloin Museum</strong> (TLM) presents a site-specific homage to one of San Francisco’s most storied jazz clubs in a day-long mini music festival featuring performances by <strong>Lavay Smith & Her Red Hot Skillet Lickers</strong>, <strong>SF Recovery Theater</strong>, plus a community-based music production, <strong><em>Tenderloin Voices</em></strong>, by Bay Area jazz composer, trumpeter and singer <strong>Sarah Wilson </strong>produced by the Tenderloin Museum in collaboration with <strong>Larkin Street Youth Services</strong>, <strong>Skywatchers</strong>, and Tenderloin writer <strong>Lyzette Wanzer</strong>.
