  searing indictment of the US war machine\, author Norman Solomon lays muc
 h of the blame for decades of carnage–from Iraq to Afghanistan to Yemen to
  Somalia–at the door of the media: ABC\, NBC\, CBS\, the cable news networ
 ks\, the New York Times and Washington Post-all stenographers for the Pent
 agon\, which has yet to pass an audit. Norman will share excerpts from his
  just released book\, “War Made Invisible: How America Hides the Human Tol
 l of Its Military Machine\,” and trace the roots of the Congressional Mili
 tary Media Complex to better understand how best to challenge the war mach
 ine.</p>\n<p><strong>Making War Visible: </strong>Our second guest\, Matth
 ew Hoh\, Associate Director of the Eisenhower Media Network\, will share t
 he genesis and projects undertaken by this organization of former military
 \, intelligence and State Department officials to make war visible. The Ei
 senhower Media Network recently ran a full-page letter in the New York Tim
 es\, “Let the US Be a Force for Peace in the World” to call for urgent dip
 lomacy to resolve the  Russia-Ukraine war. A disabled Iraq War Veteran\, H
 oh will share his personal journey from a member of the military to anti-w
