We’re seeing wide-ranging global impacts, particularly concentrated in the Global South: the Philippines declared a state of emergency due to high gas prices, food aid meant for Sudan was stalled in the UAE, and Qatar declared force majeure on its LNG contracts with countries including France, Belgium, South Korea, and China. Professors Wolff and Varoufakis will openly explore these events and their potential outcomes together in hopes we can do what we can to prepare for what could be the greatest global economic shift of our lifetimes.</p> <p><strong>Registration for this online event is free, but seats are limited.</strong> There will be a Q&A session at the end of the discussion, moderated by Professor Shahram Azhar and Mike Tedesco.
