1. Tuesday, 12Noon – 2:00pm, Time’s up! Declare Climate Emergency
532 Market St.
SF
Join us this Tuesday at noon as we take action in coordination with XRDC and encourage the US Congress to TELL THE TRUTH AND ACT LIKE IT’S REAL! If you’re able, please wear red to this action
Once again, Congress has dropped the ball on the climate crisis.
On July 9th, while XRDC were rallying outside the Capitol, Congress decided to send Bernie and AOC’s climate emergency resolution to committee. Several dozen cosponsors signed on. And then…nothing happened.

2. Tuesday, 12:30pm – 1:30pm, Boycott Manny’s – Weekly protest!
16th & Valencia St. (outside)
SF
From Black & Brown For Justice Peace and Equality / Mothers On The March Against Police Murders.
Why Are We Boycotting Manny’s?
The owner of Manny’s is occupying a place that the Latino community fought for! Residents of the Mission community have fought for many years to make sure that community organizations create venues/space that would benefit the black and brown community. We believe that this should be a cultural center for the youth of this area, especially at a time when so many are being displaced.
The owner of Manny’s also support the occupation of Palestine by a so-called Zionist state of Israel that is committing genocide of the Palestinian People. Zionist also are involved with training police in the US.
Join us, Stop the Displacement of Black and Brown People from the Mission, help us denounce Zionism and help STOP the GENOCIDE of the Palestinian People by the state of Israel.
3. Tuesday, 6:30pm – 8:30pm, Sounding the Alarm Against a Fascist Regime
Sports Basement – San Francisco
1590 Bryant St.
SF
Discussion and Organizers Meeting: Driving Out a Fascist Regime is Not a Crime
When details of Los Angeles Police Department infiltration of meetings held by the Los Angeles chapter of RefuseFascism.orgwent public, it outraged civil rights advocates — and effectively undermined the prosecution of righteous activists against the Trump/Pence fascist regime. The #Freeway9 trial ended June 28 in a hung jury because some of the jurors recognized that what the defendants did was necessary and right.
The LA City Attorney has declared its determination to go ahead with unjust and highly political prosecution of two arrested, in a retrial scheduled for Monday July 22.
Call City Attorney Mike Feuer to demand: Drop the charges against the #Freeway9 and #UCLA5. Call 213.978.8100.

5. Wednesday, 8:00am – 10:30am, Pack Federal Court – No Asylum Ban!
United States District Court of Northern California
Judge Tigar
450 Golden Gate Ave, 19th Fl.
SF
AGENDA
8:00am, gather outside: hold space, share work, (TBD) hear from speakers
9:30am, hearing begins (factor in security line)
Gather after the hearing as well
* español abajo * Join East Bay Sanctuary Covenant; Al Otro Lado; Innovation Law Lab; and Central American Resource Center in Los Angeles, as we fight the Trump Administration’s new asylum transit ban — their latest attempt to dismantle asylum in the United States, particularly for immigrants of color.
If allowed to proceed, the rule will effectively block anyone who passes through another country en route to the U.S. from seeking asylum here.
We cannot overstate the importance of this case. Let’s show up outside the court beforehand to stand in solidarity with immigrants and people fleeing persecution. Then let’s attend the hearing to make that solidarity clear to the court as well.
At this hearing, Judge Tigar will hear our argument for a temporary restraining order blocking Trump’s new rule while the court considers our suit against the policy in general. With the increasing political repression in the Philippines under the leadership of fascist US-Duterte regime, we encourage you all to join us in a collective study of the history of the Philippines and the ongoing resistance of the Filipino people against Bureaucrat Capitalism, Feudalism, and Imperialism. Learn how international solidarity has been and always will be a crucial part of our liberation struggle!
Amado Guerrero’s “Philippine Society and Revolution” is the primary historical document that tells the story of the Philippines from the perspective of the Filipino masses. It provides great insight on the evolution of Philippine society from the pre-colonial period to the present, and the Filipino people’s duty to fight for genuine freedom and democracy.
To truly and correctly serve the people, we must learn our history.
Please fill out this form to RSVP ( and for us to get to know you more and what your needs are!) –>

8. Wednesday, 6:00pm – 8:00pm, Say NO To PG&E at the CPUC Meeting
Elihu M. Harris State Office Building
Oakland
Last year, PG&E caused the deadliest fire in California history, annihilating the town of Paradise and killing 86 people. The year before, PG&E was found liable for 17 major fires, most of which were tied to violations of state code. Now that the company is being sued for billions, they are trying to pass the cost of their negligence down to ratepayers like you and me.
Next year the average household electricity bill will go up by over $20/month despite PG&E rates already being among the highest in the country.
Let’s show up to the ratepayer hearings at the CPUC and demand that energy is affordable, safe, and democratized!

13. Thursday, 7:00pm – 9:00pm, Earth Strike – presentation & discussion
Revolution Books Berkeley
2444 Durant Ave.
Berkeley
Event will be a presentation by an organizer for Earth Strike, followed by a discussion.
Melting icecaps. Rising seas. Coral reefs dying. Rain forests decimated. One million species projected to become extinct, many within decades. Profound and savage inequalities wrack the human race – an estimated 65 million people around the globe forced from their homes, many by climate change, seek safe haven.
Many are sleep walking through this nightmare. But new stirrings of resistance are emerging, including from the youth. A global climate strike has been called for the end of September 2019. The mission statement for Earth Strike says “We, the people of the world are striking to save the planet.”
