Stand up for REAL JUSTICE NOT Brooke Jenkins! With Mothers On The March and the Community at the SF Police Officers Association (SFPOA)
The SFPOA is supporting and have donated to interim DA Brooke Jenkins for SF District Attorney.
We need to RESIST and stand against her lies. A few incidents:
– For not holding police accountable for abusing and executing people in our communities. She fired most of the lawyers who were working on cases involved in holding sfpd accountable.
– Two of the cases were in various stages of court hearings for trial and now next court hearings won’t be until after the election.
– Worked as a consultant / volunteer for ‘non-profit’ tied closely against Chesa Boudin recall group for $153,000? What work did she actually do?
DA Jenkins Defends Secretive $100,000 Payment from Anti-Boudin Group, Which Turns Out Was Actually $153,000
– State Bar complaint has been filed against Jenkins for violating State Bar Rules and the Business and Professions code by retired Superior Court judge Martha Golden.
Retired Judge files State Bar Complaint Against SF District Attorney Brooke Jenkins, citing Dishonest Conduct – October 14, 2022
– For deceiving San Franciscans from the time the Guido trial didn’t go her way and she quit the DA’s office to work on the Recall Boudin campaign
Chief Attorney in Public Defender’s Office Challenges Knight Account in Gudino Case October 29, 2022
– For contributing more to AAPI hate and divisions between the Asian, Black and Brown communities.

4. Saturday, 2:30pm – 4:30pm, U.S. Versus China: The New Cold War
Online register in advance to receive link: Meeting Registration – Zoom
The Biden Administration has now launched a full-blown economic war on China. The U.S. hegemon sees a rising China as its main rival and wants to stop China’s rise. For its part, China is expanding its political and economic influence worldwide. Both countries put economic growth ahead of environmental concerns. The conflict may soon come to a head over Taiwan’s future. Is this the making of a catastrophic world war? Is environmental degradation the greater danger?
Speakers include:
Richard Smith – A founding member of System Change Not Climate Change; author of Green Capitalism: the God that Failed, and China’s Engine of Ecological Collapse
Laurence Shoup – Laurence Shoup – Author of Wall Street’s Think Tank: The Council on Foreign Relations and the Empire of Neoliberal Geopolitics
Richard Tan – A criminal defense and civil rights attorney

In doing so they are covering up Israel’s very ugly violence and theft of Palestinian land, especially as the violence of the state and settlers have reached unprecedented levels, and a just political solution is needed more than ever.

7. Thursday, 10:00am – 1:00pm, Global Climate Strike for COP 27
In person
Meet at:
Embarcadero Plaza
SF
After gathering at Embarcadero Plaza, participants will go on a short march to the SF offices of military contractor Lockheed Martin and to a military recruitment office.
Join the international movement led by African, Egyptian, and Arab climate justice organizations in a global climate strike to demand that this year’s UN climate meetings in Egypt — COP 27 — go beyond business as usual to take urgent, powerful action on climate justice.
In San Francisco, Youth vs Apocalypse (YVA) is leading a coalition of many local climate and environmental justice organizations saying: Choose Action Now! Defund violence, Fund our futures!
YVA: “We are coming together to confront the systems that sacrifice our lives for a profit, be that climate destroying fossil fuel companies, or those that profit from and promote militarism and war. In the middle of war around the world and violence on our streets, we are gathering to celebrate our community and each other – to show that we are not disposable and that young people and the planet must be protected from all forms of violence.”
YVA: “We know that the military is the largest emitter of greenhouse gasses in the world and is exempted from following climate protections just as police are offered qualified immunity for their actions. Just as military expansion sacrifices the lives of youth of color through military recruitment, and of communities around the world through militarization and violence, it is also waging a war against our planet.”
Marchers will then return to Embarcadero Plaza for speakers and activities highlighting positive actions we can take for a healthy future. Voices for Public Transportation will bring its campaign, “transit = climate,” pointing to the key role that an expanded, accessible, convenient, green public transportation system must play in a sustainable future.
