Exposing the profiteers behind Medicare REACH

Physicians for a National Health Program (PNHP) Jan 27, 2023 Shortly after the Medicare REACH program went live in January of 2023, PNHP hosted a webinar on this troublesome continuation of the Trump administration’s Medicare Direct Contracting program. PNHP immediate past president Dr. Susan Rogers moderated the webinar, which included an overview of the REACH program and some companies with a history of bad behavior that are being allowed to administer Traditional Medicare benefits (presented by PNHP secretary Dr. Ed Weisbart); a personal story about how profit-seeking middlemen can harm patients (presented by PNHP vice president Dr. Diljeet Singh); and next steps in the fight against REACH (presented by PNHP NY Metro executive director Morgan Moore).
