San Francisco League of Pissed Off Voters
Election season is in the air. It’s time to come together, discuss, and vote on The League’s November 2024 endorsements. This ballot is LONG, so we will be coming together twice.
League Endorsement Meeting #1 – Ballot Measures
6 pm to 9 pm on Thursday, August 15
League Endorsement Meeting #2 – Candidates
4 pm to 6 pm on Sunday, August 18
These are in-person events, and space is limited, so you must RSVP.
To RSVP, email theLeagueSF@gmail.com and let us know which meeting you want to come to, or if you want to come to both meetings.
If you’ve never come to one of these before, the process is: we wear masks, we have some food, scribble our thoughts on butcher paper on the walls, talk through what’s on the ballot, and then vote on our endorsements.
Everyone is welcome to come and participate in the conversation, but only League members who have donated and volunteered in the last year can vote on our endorsements.
We’ll have a list of current members at the meeting, but if you have questions about your voting status–or anything else about this meeting or our process–just email theLeagueSF@gmail.com
Candidates and paid staffers can join us, but can’t stay in the room when we discuss their race: that keeps the meetings honest and interesting instead of a platform for candidates to speechify.
