Israel has expanded its bombing campaign to Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Iran and continues its genocidal campaign in occupied Palestine.

– End the Apartheid / Colonialization of Palestine

We must call for a GENERAL STRIKE TO STOP THE GENOCIDE! (since elected officials won’t stop funding genocide)

We must call for a national strike demanding the United States of North America’s financing of the genocide, occupation and war against Palestinian people

4. Saturday, 1:00pm, BAY AREA: NO VOTES FOR GENOCIDE!

SF City Hall
1 Dr. Carleton B. Goodlett Pl
SF

Join us Saturday, November 2, 2024 at San Francisco City Hall as we mobilize with tens of thousands across the United States under the banner of No Votes for Genocide.

For over a year, we have been mobilizing to demand an end to the US funded and supported Israeli genocide in Palestine and Lebanon. The current administration has the ability to enact an arms embargo that would put an end to this genocide but refuses. We know the US’s direct role in the genocide of our people, and refuse to sit idle as political parties across the spectrum, especially the Democrat and Republican parties, parade around in a desperate attempt to garner votes without meeting the demands of the people or ending US complicity in genocide.

As the US continues to directly fund the destruction, deadly bombings, and massacring of Palestinian and Lebanese civilians, we will continue to demonstrate against the Biden-Harris administration, the congressional representative and all political officials for their complicity. Join us, as we make it clear to the American ruling class that genocide is unavoidable and their complicity will follow them wherever they go. We demand an ARMS EMBARGO NOW and an END TO THE SIEGE ON GAZA!

8. Wednesday, 3:00pm – 4:00pm, Monthly Close GITMO Global Vigil

SF Castro Farmer’s Market (Noe St @ Market St)
SF

President Biden has this critical window of opportunity to close Guantánamo! Remind him to follow his own advice:

“America will not torture. We will uphold the rights of those who we bring to justice. And we will close the detention facility at Guantánamo Bay…. [W]e say to our friends that the alliances, treaties and international organizations we build must be credible and they must be effective. That requires a common commitment not only to listen and live by the rules, but to enforce the rules when they are, in fact, clearly violated”
~U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, February 2009

As a reminder, 30 Muslim men remain at Guantánamo Bay Detention Center. Sixteen of the men have been cleared for release, some for over a decade. TELL BIDEN TO FOLLOW THROUGH ON HIS PROMISE AND CLOSE GITMO NOW!!!

Host: Amnesty International and World Can’t Wait
