Another judge blocks Trump’s birthright-citizenship order

San Francisco and more than a dozen states have successfully — albeit temporarily — blocked President Donald Trump from revoking birthright citizenship.

A federal judge in Massachusetts granted a preliminary injunction Thursday in a pair of consolidated lawsuits — New Jersey et al. v. Trump and O. Doe et al. v. Trump — blocking the administration from implementing an executive order that would strip away a right understood to be embedded in the 14th Amendment of the Constitution.
