Since the presidential election controversies in Florida (2000), Ohio in (2004), and hacking in at least 21 states (2016), there are grave concerns about the privately owned, non-transparent, and easily hacked voting systems from corporate vendors.  That’s why we need AB 7184, the Secure the VOTE Act, for publicly owned transparent and more secure paper ballot voting systems.  AB 1784 will secure the vote — while saving the state and counties millions of dollars because after a system is created and certified everyone can use it for free.

Come hear all about it and help plan the campaign to make California lead the nation with AB 1784, the Secure the VOTE Act!

Inspiring speakers include AB 1784 Author Assemblymember David Chiu ~ Senator Scott Wiener, Author of the Open-Source Paper Ballot State Matching Funds Proposal ~ Assemblymember Rob Bonta ~ Malia Cohen, Board of Equalization District 2 ~ Supervisor Dave Canepa, San Mateo County District 5 ~ Christine Pelosi, Chair of Women’s Caucus of CA Democratic Party ~ Helen Grieco, Northern California Organizer of California Common Cause ~ Pedro Hernandez, Senior Policy Coordinator of FairVote ~ Brigette Hunley, Chair, Computer and Internet Caucus of CA Democratic Party ~ Jill Rowe, San Francisco Elections Commission ~ and other invited leaders coming soon!

Also hear from Trent Lange, President of the California Clean Money Campaign, which is leading the effort.  Dr. Lange will discuss the details of the bill and the grassroots campaign, plus answer all your questions.
