And now word has leaked of the biggest round of immigration raids yet — with plans to arrest 1,500 people — specifically targeting the Bay Area to go after sanctuary cities. This is a fascist, and very explicitly political assault. This is really a “then they came for the immigrants” moment – the Bay Area has to say “NO!” in a lot of ways and through different expressions. Groups and and individuals, everyone needs to take part, with a spirit in line with the airport protests of last January. Join us for an emergency mass meeting to respond to the ICE raids that are set to target immigrants within the Bay Area in the next few weeks.
