Contrary to his pledge that “diplomacy is back at the center of our foreign policy,” President Biden has publicly labeled Russian President Vladimir Putin “a killer” without “a soul.”

With the United States and Russia brandishing thousands of nuclear weapons pointed at each other, such rhetoric is extremely dangerous. We must not let it become normalized.
