Join the conversation on Organizing for a Just Recovery
More emergencies are unfolding every day — from COVID, to the eviction crisis, to disasters caused by climate change. How can organizers build relationships and coalitions during a crisis? How can our  organizing efforts balance immediate needs with pushing for long term change? On November 29, you’ll get the chance to learn from two organizers at the leading edge of these questions.

José Bravo is the Executive Director of Just Transition Alliance, a coalition of environmental justice and labor organizations. Together with frontline workers, and community members who live along the fence-line of polluting industries, Just Transition Alliance creates healthy workplaces and communities.

Allen Myers is the Executive Director of Regenerating Paradise, which is working to lead the transformation of Paradise, California in the wake of the Camp Fire. The organization recently released the short film A Message from the Future of Paradise, which puts forward a vision for a disaster resilient community that ensures housing and employment for survivors.
