Earlier this year, we launched the Nurses’ Campaign to Elect CalCare Champions.

Together we are supporting eleven candidates who, if elected, will put us in a much better position to pass CalCare in 2023 and win guaranteed health care for all in California.

We’ve built out a strategy to help win these critical races —  but we’re short on volunteers, Mike. We’re sending individual texts to hundreds of thousands of voters across these eleven districts to share why nurses trust these candidates and why voters should support them, and we need your help.

It’s up to us to create the legislative conditions in Sacramento necessary to enact progressive policies like CalCare. We made historic progress on single-payer legislation in the last year — and this November, we have an opportunity to elect CalCare champions up and down California to prepare for the reintroduction of CalCare in 2023.

We’ve identified some of the most important races of this election cycle, and we’ve already started mobilizing across the state to help win them. Together, Mike, we can elect these candidates and get one step closer to transformative health care reform.
