We have chosen the documentary, Nazi Town, USA as our film this month as a way to look back at 20th century history of the United States, especially the period between WW I and WW II.  We hope to get a deeper understanding of the Right Wing political shift in world politics at this time.

I hope you can make it.

6:30pm (PDT), 7:30 pm (MDT), 8:30 pm (CDT), 9:30 pm (EDT)

Under the auspices of PBS American Experience program filmmaker Peter Yost brings to light the little-known history of the German American Bund a group of Nazi Sympathizers on American soil in the 1930’s.  The Bunds embrace and influence of ” Americanism” and “America First” raises questions of how and can it happen today?

Using archival photos and films interspersed with historian and journalist Nazi Town-USA traces the development of this extreme, anti-communist and antisemitic organization.

After the screening there will be a discussion and Q&A.
