Our movie theme this month is in keeping with the important election coming up in November.  It’s only about 45 minutes long which should leave us plenty of time to discuss the subject afterwards.
A reminder will be sent during the week of the screening.  Hope you can make it.

Suppressed and Sabotaged: The Fight To Vote the latest documentary by Robert Greenwood sounds the alarm on this existential threat to our democracy and informs voters on how to take action ahead of the critical 2022 midterms.

The film focuses on the recent wave of voter suppression and subversion laws being enacted in states and how the 2018 Georgia gubernatorial race between Stacey Abrams and Brian Kemp provides a case study for understanding voter suppression laws in this country.

Our community co-sponsors for this screening is the UU The Vote/ Good Trouble Campaign of First UUSF.  Our last in a series of events to get out the vote for the upcoming midterm elections.
