Let’s get to work!
Since forming the Berniecrats in July, we’ve sought to build a group that is 100% grassroots-action. That means every one of our members should have the power to fight for the issues they care about under the umbrella of the SF Berniecrats.
To build on that, we’ll be breaking into working groups at the March meeting. Working groups are our way to empower each member to take action on the things they want to impact. Members can create a working group to address any issue they want – medicare for all, police brutality, sanctuary city, etc.
We’ll have a discussion about working groups at the start, then brainstorm ideas for individual groups, and break out into teams from there.
Agenda:
6:45 – Introduction
6:55 – Member announcements
7:15 – Working group description
7:25 – Working group brainstorming session
7:45 – Breakout into individual groups
8:15 – Report back
8:25 – Close
