Stand Up Thursday! No Muslim Ban

Our America would be a country that treats all of us justly and welcomes all of us equally. Our America welcomes the child who is reuniting with her family, the refugee who cannot return to their homeland, and the immigrant who like us, is building a better life here. The Trump administration has violated our fundamental values with the Muslim ban.

Meet us on Thursday, March 16th at 4pm at the SF Federal Building to Protest the New Muslim Ban and stand up, fight back with us! In the face of a world that seems increasingly inhumane, standing in solidarity to protect one another is the most radical thing we can do. Print, share and bring this sign from the Arab Resource and Organizing Center.

If Republicans succeed in repealing the Affordable Care Act, 24 million Americans would lose their healthcare. In our America, access to medicine would not be a privilege reserved for the wealthy, but a necessity available to all. No matter our differences, we want a similar thing: to lead a healthy life, and to be able to get care if we ever get sick or injured.

This Wednesday, March 15th, from 5pm to 8pm in SF, SEIU Local 1021 is hosting afight back phone bank to urge voters in Arizona, Nevada, and California to push their Republican representatives to defend healthcare for all of us. To win now and in the long-term, we need to build resistance everywhere. Join us Wednesday to build power and resistance!
