Bay Area American Indian Two-Spirits (BAAITS) is proud to invite you to our 8th Annual community Two-Spirit powwow!
Powwows are traditional, Inter-tribal events that promote community togetherness, healing, and wellness. The Two-Spirit powwow is held each year to help decolonize our communities and realign with Native traditions of togetherness, seeing strength in our differences, and accepting all genders and sexualities.

Our Two-Spirit Powwow embraces Native traditions while also providing a uniquely San Francisco experience. The annual event draws our community together, celebrating our cultures through traditional DANCE, ARTS, FOOD, and an opportunity for indigenous people from every tribal nation to gather and dance at our powwow. Last year we welcomed more than 5000 Native and non-Native people to join in the event.

GETTING THERE:
We encourage people to take MUNI if possible — there are a lot of buses that drop off nearby:
The 22 or 49 will take you there from 16th & Mission BART.
The 30 will take you from Powell BART.

PARKING:
There is a paid lot ($14 for the whole day) right outside the venue, but we are sharing it with any event that might be happening next door. There are hundreds of parking spots within a close walk to the Festival Pavilion. Metered or sometimes free parking is available along Marina Blvd and Marina Green Blvd. Please look for parking signs to ensure you are not parking in a restricted or metered spot or be prepared to pay a ticket.

San Francisco enforces parking violations on Saturdays! Getting to the event earlier in the day will allow for greater parking options.
