What is Our Revolution UC Berkeley? Our Revolution is the progressive student association at UC Berkeley, and the premier political club on campus. As our name implies, we’re also the campus chapter of Bernie Sanders‘s Our Revolution. We’re the only club on campus with a proven, dedicated focus to electing progressive candidates, passing progressive ballot measures, and implementing other progressive policies. Our accomplishments include:
*Reelecting Kate Harrison and electing Rigel Robinson to the Berkeley City Council (2018)
*Passing Measures O & P to fund affordable housing and homeless services (2018)
*Handing out thousands of our comprehensive, joint student voter guides with CalSERVE Campus Mobilizers (2018)
*Advancing Jovanka Beckles for Assembly to the November general election (2018)
*Electing councilmember Kate Harrison (2017)
*Raising Berkeley’s affordable housing mitigation fee to fund affordable housing (2017)
*Raising Berkeley’s minimum wage to $15 and implementing paid sick leave (2016)
*Passing Berkeley Measure U1 to create $4 million per year for affordable housing (2016)
*Handing out thousands of our comprehensive student voter guides both on paper and online (in cooperation with CalSERVE Campus Mobilizers) (2016)
*Filing campaign finance charges against the Berkeley Property Owners Association (2016)
*Being the largest chapter of Students for Bernie (as UCB for Bernie Sanders) (2015-2016)
