But if the simulations hold up, they convey a clear message: in order to stave off the worst of climate change, world leaders will need to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/futurism.com\/the-byte\/doomsday-climate-report-leaders-failed\">take strong action<\/a>&nbsp;soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">More Context<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s possible that these models \u2014 which predict how much global temperatures will rise along with certain levels of greenhouse gas emissions \u2014 will be shown to be inaccurate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute\u2019s senior researcher Klaus Wyser, for instance, told&nbsp;<em>Bloomberg<\/em>&nbsp;that the sudden jump may well be in error&nbsp;\u2014 but it\u2019s too soon to know for sure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe hope it\u2019s not the right answer,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Confounding Variable<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of the discrepancy,&nbsp;<em>Bloomberg<\/em>&nbsp;reports, could come from the inherent difficulty of predicting how&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/futurism.com\/greenhouse-gas-clouds\">clouds impact weather<\/a>.
