Last Sunday evening I was curious if the National Football League was going to allow fans to watch their games in the stadiums. They didn’t. Stadiums were completely empty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Strangely though, down on the field, roughly two hundred male athletes were allowed to punch, scratch, and tackle each other. In hitting or being hit, gasps of aerosol spray from being pounded suddenly was unending. Literally blood and sweat was being transferred from one combatant to another. All sanctioned. The professional gladiators wore no masks and none maintained social distancing. Yet no spectators allowed and the general public continues to be pressured to wear masks in public and maintain social distancing. Am I the only one that finds this just a little bit incongruous? <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
