As I look at the trends each day, what I see confirmed again and again is the inferiority of Republican governance. The Republican Party is not interested in fostering wellbeing, all its members care about is power and greed. Instead, the most prominent American voice in Bel\u00e9m was that of the California governor,&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/schwartzreport.us8.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=b50db294056098aa2e77fd21c&amp;id=1f8269221d&amp;e=d7eb7aa9f9\">Gavin Newsom<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the five days he spent in Brazil, Newsom described Donald Trump as an \u201c<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/schwartzreport.us8.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=b50db294056098aa2e77fd21c&amp;id=a7ffc9e3fc&amp;e=d7eb7aa9f9\">invasive species<\/a>\u201d and condemned his rollback of policies aimed at reducing emissions and expanding renewable energy.
