<\/h1>\n\n\n\nThis morning, Democrats in Congress are hosting a Medicare for All shadow hearing<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 a walk-through of what it will look like in the Capitol when we finally have the votes to pass guaranteed health care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The hearing features expert witnesses, including NNU President Jamie Brown, RN, who will explain how our health care system is broken and how Medicare for All will fix it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Click here to watch a livestream of the hearing.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n While this is a big step in our effort to pass guaranteed health care, a shadow hearing won\u2019t change the law. For that, we need more Members of Congress to support Medicare for All. That\u2019s where you come in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our elected leaders need to know their constituents demand guaranteed health care \u2014 which is why we\u2019re reaching out to them directly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Using our call tool, can you call your Members of Congress and urge them to support Medicare for All (H.R. 3069 in the House, and S. 1506 in the Senate) and nothing less?<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We\u2019ll connect you directly to your members\u2019 offices and give you a script. All you need to do is pick up the phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our call tool will let you know if your members of Congress are or aren\u2019t Medicare for All co-sponsors. If your members are not<\/em> co-sponsors, urge them to support guaranteed health care by signing on as a co-sponsor of the legislation. If they are<\/em> already co-sponsors, thank them for their support and ask them to make passing single-payer health care a top priority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This morning\u2019s shadow hearing is generating a lot of buzz around Medicare for All, and we can\u2019t let it go to waste.
