Last September, HAC\u2019s Executive Director was selected to receive a 2016 Cal Wellness Sabbatical Award. This award makes it possible for Pattie to take a three-month sabbatical for relaxation, reflection and rejuvenation. It also provides HAC’s strong management team with the resources needed to effectively maintain its high standards in Pattie\u2019s absence.<\/p>\n

The 2016 Cal Wellness Sabbatical Award is funded by a grant from The California Wellness Foundation (Cal Wellness). Created in 1992 as a private independent foundation, Cal Wellness\u2019 mission is to improve the health of the people of California by making grants for health promotion, wellness education and disease prevention.<\/p>\n

Pattie\u2019s sabbatical break begins on May 26 and ends on August 25. We look forward to her new ideas, creative initiatives and renewed energy on her return!<\/p>\n
