If it passes, it will have the force of law once it is published in the Federal Register on a date to be determined.<\/p>\n<p>Between now and the FCC vote on December 14th, our best tools to protect Net Neutrality are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Calls to congress,<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/act.commoncause.org\/site\/R?i=HfwJTRzTSYLJHo8RECNH4Q\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">click here to be connected now.<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>If your representatives are hosting public meetings (like \u201ctown hall\u201d events), attend and ask for their support of Net Neutrality. You can find a list of upcoming public meetings\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/act.commoncause.org\/site\/R?i=DdFI9CasZ8Llnlnzw-y7Ow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here.<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Write a letter to your local newspaper about the importance of Net Neutrality<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We\u2019re only a few weeks away from the FCC\u2019s vote to end Net Neutrality, so I am asking you to please take action again during this extremely critical time.<\/p>\n<p>If you can\u2019t attend an event in person, please consider making another call to congress.\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/act.commoncause.org\/site\/R?i=UwwbxttB-l6OP7IBUJXDxw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Click here to be connected right away.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We can\u2019t &#8212; and won\u2019t &#8212; let the FCC get away with killing Net Neutrality by the end of this year.<\/p>\n<p>(CommonCause.org)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please call:\u00a0424-363-4877<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We will connect you to the offices of your lawmakers\u00a0&#8212; just introduce yourself, be polite, and say:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;I support &#8216;Title Two&#8217; net neutrality rules and I urge you to oppose the FCC&#8217;s plan to repeal them.
