PLEASE SHARE THESE RESOURCES FOR PEOPLE EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS DURING THE STORMS:

SHELTER:

HSH, in partnership with SVDP, ECS, and 5-Keys has made shelter beds available at some of our shelters to respond to wet and cold weather emergency protocols starting Tuesday, January 3rd, until Sunday, January 15th. Walk-up shelter beds will be available to guests walking in from the street on a first-come, first-served basis starting at the intake times listed below:

• Next Door (intake 4:00p – 10:00p)

• Sanctuary (intake 4:00p -10:00p)

• MSC South (intake 4:00p -10:00p)

• St. Mary’s Cathedral (intake begins at 6p)

OUTREACH:

The Homeless Outreach Team throughout this activation will increase wellness checks, offer available shelter, distribute appropriate resources, and provide information about how/where to access walk-up shelter.

Clients seeking support in getting out of the intermittent weather are recommended to call the SFHOT Dispatch Line at (628) 652-8000 and follow the prompt.

If you are unsheltered and need outreach, please call SFHOT Dispatch Line and leave a voicemail with your name, your phone number if you have one, your location (exact cross streets), the hours to best locate you, and your physical description. If you are already working with a HOT team member, please let us know. The team will respond with a phone call or visit within 24 to 72 hours. In the meantime, you can also call 311 to learn about other ways to access shelter and housing.
