PACK THE COURTROOM/ HOLD DOWN THE HOUSE
Moms 4 Housing are heading back to court to face greedy developers, Wedgewood inc.
Monday, December 30th
More info below graphic
Last Thursday, in a shady move, Wedgewood lawyers asked the judge to expedite the court process for eviction. The judge ruled in their favor and postponed it until their original day in court, Monday, December 30th.
THEY NEED SUPPORT.
A big piece of the court making a motion in their favor was show of support. The courtroom WAS PACKED on Thursday.
IF THE JUDGE DOES NOT RULE IN THEIR FAVOR ON MONDAY, they will need support at the house. If you can’t make it out to Hayward, please show up to the house.
As your last act of justice for 2019, show up for these mothers whose courage is exposing the lack of political will Oakland has to support ALL of it’s residents, especially the houseless.
Public Transportation to the house: From West Oakland BART take the AC Transit #36 line towards UCB – will take you to Adeline & 28th Streets. Then walk about 1/4 mile
HOUSING IS A RIGHT, NOT A PRIVILEGE.
Thank you to Krea and Al for the above info.
