Here’s how you can dive even deeper into the discussion on why we must transform our health care system.
Our campaign recently launched a new webinar titled “Medicare for All & Communities of Color” to explore the various layers of racism and discrimination that continue to proliferate in our health care system.
During the webinar, we’ll explore the disparities in our health care system through the lens of Covid-19. We’ll also discuss some of the structural barriers to health care that communities of color face.
Here’s why this discussion is so important: we know that a single payer system like Medicare for All can transform health outcomes for communities of color who have been routinely discriminated against and left out of our current system.
We are going to use this discussion to uncover the layers of systemic racism in our health care system and demonstrate why a single payer system, like Medicare for All, can transform health outcomes for communities of color. Plus, we’ll share some action steps you can take to help build the movement for Medicare for All.
In order to win and build a system that guarantees health care for all free at the point of service – no matter your race, gender, income, immigration status, pre-existing condition, or anything else — we need a strong, diverse movement with as many people informed as possible about this fight.
Excited to see you there,
