The perfect way to whet your appetite for the re-opening of Compton’s Cafeteria Riot is to join the Tenderloin Museum and Frameline for a special screening of Screaming Queens: The Riot at Compton’s Cafeteria on March 19 at The Roxie Theater. This award-winning documentary by Susan Stryker and Victor Silverman helped shine a light on the landmark event in LGBTQ+ history. The filmmakers will be at the screening for a post-film discussion moderated by Katie Conry, Executive Director of the Tenderloin Museum. Presented as part of the Roxie’s 40 Years of Queer series co-curated by Lex Sloan and Jenni Olson!
