Sensible Cinema is back from our vacation hiatus.  We start out with a documentary about brave people standing for the American right of “Freedom of Speech”.  This film, Boycott, is about the struggle of the BDS (Boycott-Divest-Sanction) Movement.
You might be aware that my email was hacked recently, and emails may have been sent out to some of you from my lists.  My sincere apologies about that.  Everything is back in order, and I’m supposedly protected against such intrusions.  I hope we can continue to work together this way.  If you no longer wish to be on my Sensible Cinema list, let me know.
Thanks,
Larry Danos

The award-winning film Boycott by director Julia Bacha traces the impact of state legislation designed to penalize individuals and companies that choose to boycott Israel due to its human rights records.  Through the stories and legal battles of three Americans a publisher, an attorney and a pediatric speech pathologist the attack of freedom of speech in 36 states is exposed.

Regardless of where you stand on the Israel-Palestine issue the film Boycott is a call for Americans to protect their right to dissent before they disappear.
