Last month we had a problem getting Zoom figured out and eventually we had to re-boot the software and it worked after that. I hope all goes well this month. Just keep in mind we’re in the background trying to make it work and it may take a few minutes. You can log in anytime after 6:45pm on Friday. Just use the links below.

Here’s an entertaining documentary about graffiti and pop artists. It sheds light on a youth subculture that has to show its art. How one Frenchman who migrated to the U.S. and made his way through a little-known world of pop culture. It came out in 2010, 87 mins long and can be watched in sessions. It’s a fast-paced capture of Thierry Guetta’s journey and the ways of a famously mysterious street artist named Bansky. When it’s done, you’ll have a better understanding of this art.
- Independent Spirit Award for Best Documentary Feature
- Nominated for Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature
I’ll send out a Zoom invitation later to have a discussion on our regular night, May 15, 7:00pm. You can probably teach me what this film was really about.
