Palestine and Israel Today

 Virtual Screening, Friday, June 18, 2020, 6:30pm

Unitarian Universalist Center 1187 Franklin Street @ Geary Blvd.

Israel has steadily expanded its holdings in Palestine that has created a land that defies any kind of sensible separation into two states, as was initially suggested.  We stand by an watch as Palestine loses its economic viability and the U.S. continues to finance this disaster.  Now,

Israel and Gaza are in the midst of a cease-fire and Israel has just elected a new leader.  So, in an attempt to clarify what the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is all about we will watch several short films about the background of this troubled area.  Afterwards we’ll try to make sense of what we’ve seen.
