The documentary from PBS Frontline, Supreme Revenge: Battle For the Supreme Court, from veteran filmmaker Michael Kirk traces how a 30 year old grievance starting with the bitter confirmation hearing of President Reagan’s Supreme Court nominee Robert Bork presided by Senator Joe Biden triggered a vow from the freshman Senator, Mitch McConnell to retaliate and how he made good on his promise.  

 Drawing on scores of interviews with current and former lawmakers, judicial-experts and political insiders, this documentary follows how Senator McConnell worked steadily for decades to garner power and support to build a conservative court. 

 The film highlights the beginning of the influential Federalist Society and includes valuable insights from reporters, historians and political players from both sides of the aisles and in typical Frontline fashion presents a fair minded and clear eyed account that attempts to tell the story straight and without prejudice.
