The Pulitzer Prize represents the highest achievement standards of writing in the arts and journalism. It includes achievements in newspaper, magazine, online journalism, literature and musical composition. The first award was made in 1917 making the iconic ceremony over one hundred years old. We belatedly celebrate this century old festival that underlines “freedom of the press”.

The film was directed by Kirk Simon, who, himself, is an Academy Award winning director for the documentary film Strangers No More, co-produced with his wife. It brings with it awareness of who Joseph Pulitzer was and gives insight through interviews with several notable Pulitzer winners.

Free Admission (donations appreciated).

As usual, popcorn and other refreshments will also be available.
