SO LET ME get this straight: The president of the United States has called neo-Nazis \u201cvery fine people\u201d<\/a>; retweeted<\/a> neo-Nazis; told an audience of Jewish-Americans that Israel is \u201cyour country\u201d<\/a>; and indulged<\/a> in viciously anti-Semitic<\/a> conspiracy theories<\/a>. While running for office, he tweeted<\/a> an image of Hillary Clinton inside a Star of David, next to a pile of cash; told<\/a> an audience of Jewish donors, \u201cYou want to control your politicians, that\u2019s fine\u201d; and put out a campaign ad<\/a> that attacked three rich and powerful Jewish figures. While a private citizen, he insisted only \u201cshort guys that wear yarmulkes<\/a>\u201d should count his money and kept a book of Adolf Hitler\u2019s speeches<\/a> on his bedside table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has never apologized for any of this. Nor has he been censured by Congress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
