It\u2019s with a heavy heart that I\u2019m sending this..<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you to all who signed petitions, sent letters and have called to halt Federal Executions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don\u2019t know if Corey Johnson and Dustin Higgs cases are before the Supreme Court. Yesterday the Trump administration appealed a lower courts ruling to \u2018stay\u2019 their execution until March. Both men have Covid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Lisa Montgomery was executed on January 13th<\/sup>, after the last \u2018stay of execution\u2019 expired. The Supreme Court voted 9-3 to  vacate the stay. Justice Breyer,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Justice Sotomayor, & Justice Kagan were the only Chief Justices that voted to uphold the \u201cstay of execution\u201d. The Trump administration pushed to execute Lisa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
