years, so I thought people might want to know that she has died.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lenel graduated from John Woolman School in 1978, attended Earlham<\/p>\n\n\n\n
College, provided childcare for Berkeley Friends Meeting and Pacific<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Yearly Meeting years ago, and, more recently, participated in the BFM<\/p>\n\n\n\n
poetry group. Lenel was fiercely independent and cheerfully committed<\/p>\n\n\n\n
to living on her own terms. She was warm, exuberant, curious, and<\/p>\n\n\n\n
generous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A memorial will be held in the meeting room behind Denny’s, 11344 San<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pablo Ave, El Cerrito, at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday 1\/8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For those planning to attend, please note: One expression of Lenel’s<\/p>\n\n\n\n
independence was mistrust of public health experts about Covid. Many<\/p>\n\n\n\n
of her friends shared that skepticism. Some of those attending the<\/p>\n\n\n\n
memorial will be unvaccinated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
