It will have 145 seats in the dining room and 9 in the bar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tyler Florence is opening Wayfair Tavern close by at 201 Pine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>JH2 Architecs is managing the design of the new Crustacean restaurant:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jh2architects.com\/portfolio\/crustacean-san-francisco\/\">Crustacean, San Francisco, CA \u2013 Restaurant Architecture \u2013 JH2 Architects %<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This is 201 Pine where Wayfair Tavern will be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/beyondchron.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/1-1-572x257.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-48295\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/beyondchron.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/1-2-572x257.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-48296\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/beyondchron.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/1-3-191x425.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-48297\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I hope they will be able to revitalize that neighborhood. It\u2019s pretty dead there. There are so many empty stores:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/beyondchron.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/1-4-572x257.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-48298\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Good Eats caf\u00e9 across the street from GNC has also closed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/beyondchron.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/1-5-572x257.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-48299\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/beyondchron.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/1-6-572x257.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-48300\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Amazon is closing down their 4 Amazon Go stores in Financial District on April 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, I walked down Market street. I saw the signs of life and spring as I got to Mid Market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sun came out after the morning rain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>People were walking along Market street carrying tulips from the tulip giveaway in Union Square.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/beyondchron.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/1-7-572x238.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-48302\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/beyondchron.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/1-8-572x257.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-48303\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/beyondchron.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/1-9-572x257.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-48304\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Everything was all positive. The tulip giveaway was a good way to attract people to come to downtown\/financial district area. Restaurants and stores were packed. The city should reach out to other flower organizations (dahlia, gladiolus, etc.) to put together events like the tulip giveaway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That scene above made me feel like I were in Paris: people carrying tulips, waiting for the bus, bicycling with old buildings as a backdrop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, to satiate my inner Francophile\u2019s wanderlust, I tried to find a caf\u00e9 along Market street with a Parisian ambiance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Voil\u00e0,&nbsp;I found La Cuisine caf\u00e9 at 1145 Market across the street from UN Plaza:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/lacuisinecafesf.com\/\">Home \u2013 La Cuisine Cafe SF<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/beyondchron.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/1-10-572x257.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-48306\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s a charming small caf\u00e9 with 2 tiny tables outside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I sat outside to savor my cappuccino, croissant, and the ambiance.&nbsp; It was a feast for my senses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The smell of urine around my table overpowered the wonderful bakery smells from the caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I overheard an Urban Alchemy\u2019s ambassador telling a group of drug dealers to wrap up their dealing quickly and move along so that tourists who had been waiting patiently could walk through the sidewalk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The area by the fountain in UN Plaza was packed with people selling drugs and other goods, smoking, and shooting up drugs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was so out of control that Emily, the perky and bubbly main character in \u201cEmily In Paris\u201d (the Netflix\u2019s hit show) would have IG it instantly:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/beyondchron.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/1-11-572x344.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-48308\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I don\u2019t hold it against the owner of the caf\u00e9 as it\u2019s out of his hands.
