In 2020, Dragosnpunk started operating an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sfchronicle.com\/restaurants\/article\/An-upstart-organic-farm-in-the-Bayview-hopes-to-15440891.php\">organic urban farm called Loyal to the Soil&nbsp;<\/a>in the Bayview District. Dragonspunk president Isaiah Powell was recently&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CsNRTA4rN4U\/\">invited to lead a microgreens workshop<\/a>&nbsp;at Michelin-starred Nisei, and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/Cpv87oCv5tU\/\">worked with Senator Cory Booker<\/a>&nbsp;on food waste issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And now, Eater SF reports Dragonspunk is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sf.eater.com\/2023\/5\/17\/23727152\/farmers-market-bayview-san-francisco\">bringing a new farmers market to Bayview<\/a>, starting Thursday, June 1 at the new\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sfpuc.org\/learning\/come-visit\/southeast-community-center\">Southeast Community Center<\/a>\u00a0on Evans Avenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe\u2019re creating a vibe,\u201d Powell told Eater SF. \u201cIt\u2019s a farmers market, but it will be curated like a party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There will be at least 15 vendors at the inaugural June 1 farmers market, many of them Black-owned Bay Area businesses like&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/rizeupbakery\/\">Rize Up Bakery<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/mossedjuicery\/\">Mossed Juicery<\/a>. Other vendors booked include&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/soulblendscoffee\/\">Soul Blends Coffee<\/a>. Other vendors onboard so far include plant-based baked goods proprietors&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/raydiant_vybes\/?utm_source=ig_embed\">Raydiant Vybes<\/a>, and local farmers market staples&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcfma.org\/MedinaBerryFarms\">Medina Berry Farms<\/a>, and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/duchocolatier.com\/\">David Upchurch Chocolatier<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Teens from the SF-based youth employment nonprofit&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/enterpriseforyouth.org\/\">Enterprise for Youth<\/a>&nbsp;will work the event as on-site volunteers, and will create promotional social media campaigns for the weekly markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you want to attend the Dragonspunk Farmers Market, the first will be Thursday June 1 from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 1550 Evans Avenue.
