Had we but world enough and time<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This coyness, Dems, would be no crime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We could just sit and wish and wait<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Till none remember that debate,<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n And how it showed the toll that age<\/p>\n\n\n\n Brings to those on history\u2019s stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But such a time, I truly fear,<\/p>\n\n\n\n Won\u2019t come until some distant year<\/p>\n\n\n\n When voters will no more remember\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n Decades after this November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n And at my back I now can hear<\/p>\n\n\n\n Trump\u2019s vengeful ego hurrying near,<\/p>\n\n\n\n Powered by the Court\u2019s new orders,<\/p>\n\n\n\n Caging babies at the borders<\/p>\n\n\n\n Turning long-won rights to ash, it\u2019s<\/p>\n\n\n\n Now the time of neofascists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Unless you opt to dump Good Joe,<\/p>\n\n\n\n A stellar prez, as we all know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But if you choose to let him run,<\/p>\n\n\n\n Democracy\u2019s a setting sun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The time for politesse <\/em>is done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And should your duties you neglect, a<\/p>\n\n\n\n Result will be a Trump trifecta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So, get off your respective duffs,<\/p>\n\n\n\n Your brains are not enchained in cuffs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Come Hakeem, Nancy and Chuck Schumer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Tell Good Joe it\u2019s no false rumor<\/p>\n\n\n\n That autocrats will win this race<\/p>\n\n\n\n Should Joe still occupy the place<\/p>\n\n\n\n Atop the Democratic ticket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Though in his stead, a gnarly thicket<\/p>\n\n\n\n Awaits the Dems as they must pick it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n A candidate who\u2019ll win the Blue Wall<\/p>\n\n\n\n States Joe Won, or build a New Wall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But times a\u2019wastin\u2019.
