Worth fighting for<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The great man says, \u201cFight! Fight! Fight!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBut for what?\u201d I ask.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fight against the \u201cdeep state\u201d so he can empower those loyal to him rather than to service?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fight for lower taxes for the wealthy?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fight for retribution? His or ours?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fight for Israel \u201cfinishing the job\u201d in Gaza?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fight for a unitary executive?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or should we rather:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fight for taking the profit out of health care and providing Medicare for all?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fight for a living wage?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fight for government agencies that protect the environment and the consumer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fight for a cease-fire in Gaza and a just solution for Palestinians?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fight for the idea of equality for all that underscores democracy?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fight for no one being above the law?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, we must fight! Fight! Fight! \u2014 for a government of laws, not of men.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
