Captured by photographer Peter Breinig, the reunion was later dubbed the \u201cLast Gathering of the Beats.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The photo, published in the San Francisco Chronicle the next day with the headline \u201cPortrait of the Artists as Old Men,\u201d featured literary icons including Allen Ginsberg and Michael McClure.
