One Olympic athlete, a skier representing Britain, registered his disgust with US immigration enforcement agents by urinating the message \u201cFuck ICE\u201d in the snow.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Hundreds of protesters gathered in the streets of Milan, Italy on Friday to protest<\/a> the presence of US Immigration<\/a> and Customs Enforcement agents at the 2026 Winter Olympics, with protesters waving \u201cFCK ICE\u201d signs and condemning Trump administration<\/a> officials\u2014including Vice President JD Vance<\/a> and Secretary of State Marco Rubio<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reuters<\/em> reported<\/a> that demonstrators rallying ahead of the opening ceremony could be heard \u201cblowing plastic whistles, which have become a symbol of anti-ICE rallies in the US.\u201d The Trump administration said<\/a> a small group of ICE officers would be traveling to Milan to help provide security for Vance and Rubio, who arrived in the city on Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One demonstrator, a Minnesotan currently studying in Europe, told the outlet that she \u201cthought that this was a good opportunity to show that the rest of the world is not okay with what\u2019s happening in Minnesota.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not okay to just acquiesce and go with the status quo,\u201d the protester said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The protests<\/a> came a day after Gus Kenworthy, a skier representing Britain, urinated<\/a> the message \u201cFuck ICE\u201d in the snow ahead of the winter games\u2019 opening festivities and urged Americans to pressure their representatives to rein in the agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cInnocent people have been murdered, and enough is enough,\u201d Kenworthy\u00a0wrote<\/a>\u00a0on\u00a0social media<\/a>. \u201cWe can\u2019t wait around while ICE continues to operate with unchecked power.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
