Maj. Jason Watson\u2019s participation in a protest<\/a> organized last month by the Removal Coalition, a group that calls for President Donald Trump\u2019s impeachment<\/a>, wasn\u2019t his first foray into speaking out against the commander-in-chief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He spent 22 days<\/a> last year on a hunger strike, staying anonymous by wearing a white mask and white jumpsuit on the US Capitol grounds, next to a sign that read: \u201cImpeach. Convict. Remove.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the US airman spoke Monday about what pushed him last month to go public with his protest against Trump\u2019s unprovoked war on Iran, displaying the same sign at a news conference organized by Removal Coalition, where he wore his Air Force uniform and was identified by name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIf I don\u2019t put myself out there in a big way, it\u2019s just noise,\u201d Watson told CNN anchor Erin Burnett. \u201cWe can change what is happening in our country if we\u2019re just willing to pay a price for it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
