EVENT UPDATE:<\/strong>\u00a0Patriot Prayer has announced that instead of their planned \u201cFreedom Rally\u201d in Crissy Field that they\u2019ll instead hold a press conference in Alamo Square Park on Saturday at 2pm.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Right-wing group,\u00a0Patriot Prayer\u2019s planned \u201cFreedom Rally\u201d in Crissy Field<\/strong>\u00a0sparked a massive response and\u00a0tons of counter-protests<\/strong>\u00a0in San Francisco including a big free concert with\u00a0Michael Franti of Spearhead<\/a>\u00a0at Civic Center, a\u00a0dog poop protest<\/a>, and a\u00a0Mobile Dance Counter Rally<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Will the Alamo Square Park press conference take place?<\/strong>\u00a0It doesn\u2019t look like they have any permits yet for Alamo Square Park, so we have no idea if this will be allowed by the city and we have no idea what kind of security restrictions will be put in place at Alamo Square\u2026 stay tuned\u2026<\/p>\n

The best website to keep up-to-date is\u00a0www.nps.gov<\/a>\u00a0which we\u2019re told will be updated constantly leading up to the event with information on permits, transportation, parking, etc\u2026<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What Does Patriot Prayer Say This Event Is About?<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0Patriot Prayer claim this event is about free speech, love and peace and has pledged that \u201cNo Nazis, Communist, KKK, Antifa, (interesting that they throw in the Anti-fascist groups!!) white supremacists, I.E., or white nationalists will be allowed in.\u201d The group also claims to be an inclusive group with speakers being black, Muslim, Hispanic, Asian, transsexual and white.\u00a0According to the Southern Poverty Law Center,\u00a0organizer Joey Gibson denounced supremacists<\/a>\u00a0at a recent Patriot Prayer event in Seattle.<\/em><\/p>\n
