Activists of Pussy Riot punk collective, three women and a man dressed in police uniform, stormed the pitch during Croatia\u2019s counter attack. Stewards chased them and removed them from the field, Artnet\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/news.artnet.com\/art-world\/disguised-as-russian-policemen-pussy-riot-storms-the-field-at-world-cup-finals-in-moscow-1318526\">reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Pussy Riot wrote on the group\u2019s Facebook page that they protested against political prisoners and repressive practices used against democratic society. Presidents of France, Croatia, FIFA and Russia attended the match and hundreds of millions of people watched it on TV.<\/p>\n<p><iframe id=\"instagram-embed-0\" class=\"instagram-media instagram-media-rendered\" src=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BlRMlBqlCiF\/embed\/captioned\/?cr=1&amp;v=9&amp;wp=540&amp;rd=moc.media#%7B%22ci%22%3A0%2C%22os%22%3A4240.900000004331%7D\" height=\"663\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" data-instgrm-payload-id=\"instagram-media-payload-0\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The performance, which Pussy Riot said in the video was called \u201cPoliceman Enters the Game\u201d, marked the 11th anniversary since the death of Russian dissident and poet Dmitriy Prigov. The band referred to the concept of a \u201cheavenly policeman\u201d from Prigov\u2019s poem and compared the archetype to an \u201cearthly policeman\u201d, who disperses rallies, breaks rules and is afraid of the World Cup celebrations. The heavenly policeman, for his part, is an honest trained professional who respects rules.<\/p>\n<p>Pussy Riot also released a list of demands:<\/p>\n<p>1. Let all political prisoners free.<br \/>\n2. Not imprison for \u201clikes\u201d.<br \/>\n3. Stop Illegal arrests on rallies.<br \/>\n4. Allow political competition in the country.<br \/>\n5. Not fabricate criminal accusations and not keep people in jails for no reason.<br \/>\n6.
