This is the official announcement of the film for April, which is Earth Month. Our film will take place on Earth Day, Friday, April 22. While that happens to be the fourth Friday instead of the usual third Friday, but due to technicalities we had to move the date. It actually makes it more of tribute than it would have on our regular Friday.
The film portrays an important court case that’s been in the courts since 2015. We’re still looking for a good lawyer to talk to us about this and hopefully we’ll find one by April 22.
Hope to see you there,
Larry Danos

YOUTH V GOV
Virtual Screening, Friday, April 22, 2022, 6:30pm
A modern-day David and Goliath epic the film Youth v Gov. by director Christi Cooper follows the journey of 21 bold youths suing the world’s most powerful government to protect their constitutional rights to a stable climate. The case (Juliana vs USA) reveals evidence that the United States government has endangered their constitutional rights to life, liberty and property by acting negligently for over six decades and created the current climate crisis.
Despite numerous obstacles and setbacks, the young advocates hold steadfast in their mission determined not only to make history but also to lead the environmental reform and possibly add spark to the worldwide youth-led movement.
