Since Mayor London Breed appointed Brooke Jenkins as the interim SF DA, there has been many questions raised about her from the reason she left the DA’s Office to her role in the recall campaign of DA Chesa Boudin.
There are even more questions raised of some of her decisions since being in the DA role!
Expose the truth about the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office
LIE : “He hasn’t prosecuted a single drug dealer, despite drug overdoses causing two times as many deaths as COVID-19.”
FACT: Under Boudin, the SF District Attorney’s Office has prosecuted over 1,100 narcotics cases, and has secured hundreds of convictions. (Source: SFDA Narcotics Fact Sheet)
See Article C
LIE “Chesa dissolved the specialized unit prosecuting offenders of car break-ins.”
FACT: Boudin’s office announced the results of a significant DAO investigation into car break-ins that uncovered an international fencing operation. Furthermore, prosecution rates for auto burglaries were HIGHER in 2021 and 2022 (67.43%) than 2011-2019 (63.35%). (Source: SF DA Dashboard)
LIE “Almost half of San Francisco’s prosecutors have resigned”
FACT: Turnover in the office was the same in 2020 and 2021 under Boudin as in 2018 and 2019 under Gascon. Boudin has also recruited and hired talented attorneys from across the state including experts in their field and former prosecutors from San Francisco and other counties. (Source: SF HR Department

E. Brooke Jenkins Frequently Visits Chinatown To Talk About Safety. But Critics Worry About Further Racial Strife – July 28, 2022
To my knowledge she has visited Chinatown 4-5 times since taking office!
She’s supporting ‘Stop Asian Hate’. Some of the groups involved are questionable. By supporting some of them she is promoting more divisions, hate and fear between the Asian, Black and Brown communities.

F.. 16 Former Boudin Hires Fired in a Friday Afternoon Massacre by Brooke Jenkins July 16, 2022
Note – it’s not uncommon for a new DA to let people go and hire new people – but to me it’s questionable of who she’s hired and who she fired!!
Among the people fired were
“Lateef Grey and Rebecca Young from our Independent Investigations Bureau have been fired.” This unit was also working on police mis-conduct cases.
On August 10, from KRON: https://www.kron4.com/news/bay-area/sf-assistant-da-slams-brooke-jenkins-in-resignation-letter/
SF assistant DA Alexandra Grayner resigned. ““I was taken off my cases before several trials…”
“Grayner accused Jenkins of putting political considerations above the work of the DA’s office”
“We’ve seen her prioritize the campaign over the people of San Francisco. We see that with the news this week she misled San Franciscans to think she was a volunteer with the recall,” Grayner said. “Was this ever about public safety, or was it about political opportunism?”
