On September 10th, we will meet at 10 am at Marble Arch in London and make the demand for climate action impossible to ignore.
September will be the first step in a laser-focused, strategic plan that sees Extinction Rebellion growing in numbers and building momentum towards Spring 2023. Politics as usual will do anything to avoid facing up to the reality of the climate and ecological crisis, so without large numbers out on the streets, our demands will be ignored.
In a nutshell, the plan will centre people power and mass mobilisation at its heart, and be made up of the following 5 phases:

Can people from local groups get involved in the secret actions?What will Cover the Capital look like on Friday 9th night?How do we sign up for Cover the Capital?How do we get posters/flyers for Cover the Capital?How do we get posters/flyers for Paint the Streets?Is there anywhere to stay on the Friday night?
Phase 2 – The Occupation
I’m against a festival in place of a rebellion!Why is there no NVDA? I thought we were a movement based on disruption!Will there be opportunity for new people to practice (experience) low level NVDA/disruption (e.g swarming) during the outreach phase?Will there be training available?Why aren’t we supporting Just Stop Oil (JSO) on 1st October?What will the Occupation offer for people who travel up for just one day and expect to take part in actions?Will the Occupation be arrestable?Will just being at the Occupation be classed as illegal, and if so, what’s the likelihood (or not) that someone attending will be arrested for being there?Will I easily be able to leave the site and return to it later?If the Festival doesn’t include ‘actions’ will you still be needing Protest Liaison with the police?Why would the Met facilitate the camp in Hyde Park?Are we able to attend the occupation without camping?How will camping work? If I could only do one thing between now and Sept 10th, what is the most important thing I could do?How else can I help?I’ve volunteered but haven’t heard back yet.
